New Throttle Controller

I've got a new Throttle Controller that we are testing. They are less expensive then the Blitz and give you more settings.....we'll keep everybody up to date on how it works but so far it works the same as the Blitz but with the options of more control. The actual assemblies are well made. This is a plug and play set up and I'll have them available for $149.95.

simply put, it adjusts your throttle so when you want to floor it, you dont have to put your foot all the way to the floor... well thats when it is sport mode, as for eco mode... it alters your throttle to be as economic as possible, this is good for those of you with a heavy foot, it limits throttle response... installing the unit was a breeze... however a few alterations will have to be made for final installation.... i will post pictures of it installed...
Superskunk do you have new one or do you have the Blitz one?

I'm interested in getting one but would it be worth it if you own a CVT?
i would like to get that soon
Is this device almost like some of the stuff they have on the Subaru's and Mitsubishi Evo's? It has traction control for turf, ice and gravel.
Sweet! I've been saving for the Blitz Throttle Controller but if this one has more options and is cheaper the why heck not!

Thanks Versaspeed!
I've been told its a plug and play process nothing too extreme.
installing was easy... this isnt a traction control unit, only throttle positioning.... it is plug and play, for the most part... however it does have a wire that needs to be spliced into your reverse so that way it automatically switches to normal while in reverse.... i also need to learn how to save the settings.... what really sets this unit apart from the Blitz is that this unit has 5 settings for Eco and 7 settings for Sport... what i have found is that setting 1 on either Eco or Sport is very moderate yet still different from normal, but when you go 5 on Eco you can depress the gas pedal to almost 90% or so with out it coming anywhere near WOT (wide open throttle) however when you do floor it there is a short delay but it will go to WOT... when you use setting 7 on sport, you get WOT at what i want to say is about less than half way of the gas pedal being pressed, you can still put your foot to the floor but it will do you no good, because the car is already at WOT.... so overall for the price, i would recommend this unit, but the only set back is figuring out how to get to switch to normal while in reverse, i will go over the instructions again till i figure it out, oh and I am pretty sure there is a way to save settings, so when you switch between sport and eco you dont have to go through each setting if you want to get to 5 or 7..... i hope this answers any and all questions you have. if you feel i have left something out or didnt go into enough detail, let me know and i will find you your answer, oh and 1.6 guys dont worry i will see if this unit will work for you guys too... i will test it out in villageidiot's car....

Here is a youtube of the system that will help explain how it all works....this is on a Subaru if I'm not mistaken but will work the same way for our Versas or Cubes.

Hope this helps you guys out.
good find Bob... that is the best and easiest way to describe it, to bad he didnt show Eco mode...
when will be available on the versaspeed site?
omg i want one so bad now please tell me ur going to post this on your site
I don't see any benefit in this at all. IMO.
any real world tests as far as improving mpg? I could care less about the false sense of increased speed this would produce in sport mode. I care more about being able to apply less throttle to maintain speed on the highway.

Otherwise I'm with 2dr_sentra as this having no benefit.
