New "v" car for ADOversa!

So work has been good to me lately, and I decided it was time to go and get a car I really wanted. The Versa is... ok... but owning/driving it is emotionless. I have always wanted a truck, since for work I drive a full size one tonne van, I am used to being up high and the truck like ride...

However... I do love performance, and the truck just doesn't cut it on a winding road (which there are alot of in my area). So, after extensive research/test driving I have finally put down cash on my current (realistic) dream car.

I don't want to reveal it yet, kind of interested to see if anyone can guess it...
Its got 4 doors, six speed manual transmission, and 400hp :biggrinjester:
Also, the letter "V" is part of its name...

I would have loved a Silverado SS (previous gen) but I do use a GMC sierra regularly at work, and the 'burban satisfies my truck cravings.

cor V ette?
I wish. But that is actually a pretty close guess. Mine has 4 doors though... and the same engine :thumb2:
Cadillac CTS-V then? This was originally my first guess, but I thought corvette was more likely a "dream car".
I'll take the cadi over the vette anyday. I love Cadillac.
eVo!!!!!!!!!!

edit:
Never mind evo is only v4 lol.
I think athikerguy4life got it.

Yup. A 2007, so it has the LS2 motor. Corvettes are still too much money :frown5:
For some reason my post didn't stay. I said Viper?
So are you getting rid of the Versa then?
Congrats thats a hell of a car, im in love with the new ones. Is it a mt or at?

I wish... those things are wild! A neighbour has a new (not sure of the exact year though) Viper, Bright Green with black stripes. Hard top. The thing is so badass.

I haven't decided yet, but probably. I kind of want to see how the V is on gas. On the LS1tech forums it looks like people are averaging about 13 mpgs on them, and I won't be driving it too gently. So if its not great I might keep the Versa for road trips and longer drives. Plus I would imagine the CTS V won't be great in the winter, and I am pretty big into snowboarding.

Thanks, its MT. First thing I do will be getting rid of the skip shift "feature" lol. That gen of CTS V was only available with the man pedal transmission :thumb2:
that's awesome! I was going to guess chevelle hehe =)

Ha me too, but then I remembered he said 4 doors. Chevelle would have been nice too though :)

Skip shift feature?
nvm I looked it up, thats an annoying feature. Sounds like it there to keep you from bangin through the gears, but a cadi with a vett engine... Kinda hard not to.

If I was going classic it would be 67-69 camaro or late 60's or early 70's gm pickup.

Basically... they say its for fuel economy, but yeah who wouldn't want to bang gears with an LS2.

Wasted about 2 hours on youtube lastnight listening to clips of different exhausts/intakes.... good thing my neighbourhood is pretty much all car guys :biggrinjester:
:cornut::banana:
Niiice Congrats!! Hope the V has bun warmers after freezin your keester off in the cherry picker:D Need pics of ctsv and 'burban!
