Just purchased a 09 Versa last week. It's the 4dr sedan AT with black interior. I recently had to let go of my 04 Mazda RX-8 (it was a beast) because it couldn't fit a car seat or stroller (just had a kid). So my plan is to trick this ride out and get as much horse power out of it as possible. This way my wife will think that it's still not a sports car. That's ok she has no idea what a turbo is muahahaha.

Thanks. Yeah too bad I had to give it up. Probably for the best though because it was red and a ticket magnet. I plan on doing quite a bit with this car. I am in the process of picking out a different paint job for it. I may go with a matte black. First thing I plan on doing though is probably tinting the windows and getting the AEM CAI.

welcome to NVF! so how do you like your car so far? oh yeah and dont forget to check out http://www.shop.versaspeed.com for all your versa needs and wants! hope you enjoy your car as much as we do...
I like the car a lot more than I thought I would especially when going from a RX-8 to the Versa. The way you sit in the car, it almost feels like how you sit in a truck except that it is very comfortable. I like the microfiber interior and as far as performance goes... well it's a 4banger AT but I think I can make it sing lol. It definitely has very responsive handling and although it worries me sometimes going into corners (because it seems so tall) it doesn't really have any trouble.

I plan on using versaspeed for most of the parts I'll be getting.

Thanks. I have to say I've seen you car and it looks sic. I am still trying to decide if I am going to stay with the blue or do a custom paint job. I think I will definitely do my tail lights like you did as long as you don't mind

thanks for the complement, i appreciate that. go for it w. the taillights :cheers2: i even did a write up on it in the "How-To's" you can follow that
Yeah that was awesome of you I saw that.

I like the blue color and there are not many blue ones out there it seems especially the sedan. just trying to figure out a good solution for the grille.

I have seen a couple grills that don't have the split in the middle and go all way across. I like the 2010 OEM one but would want to de-badge it and I think it has tabs that leave holes.
