Ive got it, but I spent $200 on it,
. It's nice, but I found it kinda of a pain in the butt to install. I can't live without it now. Cars don't seem right without the foot lighting when im in other cars.
That's kind of what I'm gonna do, but with blue leds lol. Got them at Autozone for like 20 bucks. Gonna hook em up to the dimmer switch, where did your brother connect em to?If it is the entire kit for $50 then it is a great deal. Let us know if it is what the listing says it to be ...
I only wanted pink neons, so for under $20 my brother installed pink neons under each footwell for me, and they come on every time I turn the key:thumb2:
Mines the OEM one and after you connect it and install it, it turns on when you unlock the doors, open the doors, start the engine. There is a knob located above your cup holders that turns it on and off. It will have 20 colors, all this information is for the OEM accent lighting kit, which is what he is claiming to be selling. They could be getting rid of the product where they are selling it, so this may be like a clearance price to rid of the product, u know? Id jump on it if I didn't have it already. It's been about a yr, and everything still works perfect. Ive got some pics on facebook. I don't know if you will be able to see them, but heres the link.question though do u have to turn it on yourself and is it one color or different colors
Man post some pics of itHi everyone I just installed my kit yesterday and it works perfectly and by the way it is a nissan oem kit. It took me about 3 hours total to install it. The instruction are pretty clear im very happy with the result. So i would recommend you guys to pick one up that is a one time deal. It really doesnt look cheap at all.
It's hooked up to the switch which is located above your cup holders, but the switch connects to this black box. The black box connects the switch, driver and passenger foot well lights, and cup holder lights. That box then connects to the BCM which is located behind the glove box. There are 3 wires, they are connected to 3 accessory wires.Sweet! I just put an order through. What is it hooked up too? Is it an on off switch?
Holy cow! Is there a way where I can hook up the wiring like the dome light? For instance have the lights go off after the car starts running and if I want to just flip the switch it would stay on until I take the key out of the ignition. I'm not very strong in electrical. Maybe the kit is set out that way? Thanks for the help! It's hooked up to the switch which is located above your cup holders, but the switch connects to this black box. I kind of worded it wrong. The 3 wires connect to 3 different accessory wires in the BCM. When you unlock the doors, the light comes on, lock the doors the light turns off, if car is not started in like 30sec it turns off, key in ignition and turned to on, turns them on, when you turn engine off they turn off, when key is removed from ignition they come back on. I believe they are connected to the door lamp, keyless entry wire, and ignition wire. They are Basicly on at all times. The switch is to change colors, demo, and on and off operation. I am so sorry for the mix up. It's not hard, but it takes time, and it gets frustrating. It gives you step be step instructions, tells you everything you need. But looks great afterward. It's just hard for me, cause im a big dude, but working in a small area, u know?Holy cow! Is there a way where I can hook up the wiring like the dome light?
