Also there are so many that it would take FOREVER to to go over them with a touch up pen. Is there another way to fix them?
It's a dark red. I don't know the exact color or code.what color is it? If its a darker color it could be the primer showing through. The final coat of paint is a thin coat on newer cars. Maybe you drove behind a truck that was hauling some chemicals or something I dont know try checking at a dealer or a local paint shop.
I should say the Rogue is my dads car. I have a 09 Versa hatchback that got repainted and since the paint was still soft it chipped like no tomorrow. So I know what your talking about on the Versa. The bottom front of my bumper is covered in tiny white specks too ... It's all from highway driving. If they made a bra for the sport bumpers I would have bought it for all the long trips I take but they don't so there isn't much I can do about it. It's not noticeable unless you look close. I have tried claying the area, and putting rubbing compound on it, didn't do much.
Those are stone chips. Thin paint on these cars is brutal. I'm thinking of respraying my front bumper/hood then getting my friends dad to throw the 3M clear bra on it... great product. The bottom front of my bumper is covered in tiny white specks too ...
