Hey guys!
I got a 2012 Nissan Versa hatchback a couple of years ago from the original owner, the car runs great, the only issue is that the front driver door lock and the passenger door lock stopped locking automatically (with remote and door buttons) the passenger one occasionally lock while the driver one never does.
I thought it was time to get them fixed or try fixing them, any suggestions on what to check? I can hear the Automator making noise but they just don’t lock. Would rather fix myself than bring it in somewhere.

You'll need to pull the inner door panels to critically examine the door lock rods. If the actuator is working, the round barrels may have slipped out of the lock mechanism. Do you have access to a FSM to examine a diagram?

Thanks for the quick response! I do not have a FSM but maybe I’ll be able to find one. I tried to take out the first plastic panel but then I didn’t know what to do from there.

you should be able to find the door one and go from there.
