But Georgia has been getting some crazy rain lately, and its had me wondering about my DC CAI. Its So big and right next to the wheel, and im worried about hydrolock!!! Do I have a reason to worry? Will normal driving inhale water even when REALLY WET

you should be fine. If you're really worried though, they make a piece that goes between 2 sections of pipe (at least for the AEM intake) that sorta filters out any water that might get up there. not sure if DC has the same thing. You'll probably be fine though. Its been very wet here and I haven't had any issues.
Unless it directly touches water you'll be fine. Small amounts of water going into the engine will not hurt it. You have oil constantly streaming into your intake manifold that ends up in the combustion chamber (PCV) and that is even worse to combust then water.
From what I hear, the filter pretty much has to be submerged. However, if too concerned you could always try this: AEM Air Bypass Valve for Cold Air Intakes - Prevents Hydro-lock
It needs to be totally submerged...it's pretty well protected by the panels on the bottom of the car and the fender liner from water intrusion unless you drive through a huge deep puddle...and if you do you might hydrolock a normal intake anyway!
i had the same question a while back about my AEM CAI but as Ben_B states it has to be totally submerged to cause any issues. so your good :)
thank you all for the replies!

im just north of you in walker county rains been insane here as well and we are flooding as we speak if you really worried about it get a bypass valve or use just the first piece of piping untill the water levels and rain goes away
You would have to submerge the filter and suck up a real lot of water for it to make it all the way up into your engine. But if this is seriously a concern just go to a warm air intake until the rain is gone or just leave it like that.
