NTD Throttle Controller vs Shadow Throttle Controller

ok so I am new here, but I am not new per se... so I've seen you guys run the blitz, and the ntd... but what about the shadow... it's actually cheaper than the NTD Controller.. which is shocking considering the NTD is dirt cheap :cheers2:

ps. there's one more made by d1 spec... but I can't seem to find it for sale anywhere so it's out of the discussion

ive never heard of the shadow, ill research that later, but i have the NTD and i love it, 5 eco modes, 7 sport modes and normal mode? amazing

Interesting, the Shadow E-Drive and the NTD are the same product I think, even with the same packaging just the NTD comes in 2 boxes and the Shadow comes in 1, they are different colors and brand names. NTDs boxes consist of the throttle controller and the other box has all the wiring, while shadow has all in 1.

I'm going to pull the trigger on the shadow later on... Need to do some maintenance on the car first

to install the 5a harness... get under your dash, remove the plug at the accelerator petal... install 5a harness plug stock into other side of 5a, now plug the connector off of the 5a harness into the control module... next plug the OBDII plug into OBDII port... run the wire install and connect display/control unit.... done! any questions? let me know if needed i will scan and post the directions that came with my kit... FYI sport7 kills your gas! lol....

i say FTD, just because it comes from a reliable source (Versaspeed.com) and it comes with english directions... lol

Crap... I have a check engine light... PA200 or something like that... Primary o2 sensor twice

I am nearing 30k service I'm 500 miles away I'll have em heck that shit out at the dealer but no way I'm installing the controller for them to gimme that warranty mumbpo jumbo

D1 Spec and Shadow are the 1st version throttle controller which might cause CEL from time to time.
ETC is the 2nd version which has been reprogrammed to better calibrate w/ ECU and to be compatible toward European Makes and models. PPL from other major forums such as Subaru LGT & Mazda6 are using ETC as well

Agree, so far the ETC's that I have sold the Customers have been crazy over and some have had them over a month. :cheers2:
And the instructions are in English! :smile5:

i want to share something

i already have a throttle controller....

and i can't believe it is broken every 3 month...

the brands which i use are Autogauge and Optimax...

The main problem is in the modul..

Every 4,000 RPM the ETC like a launch control... so my car can't ride over 4,000 RPM.....
