Welcome! The Versa checks off pretty much all of those boxes. The Versa isn't really the best at anything, however it isn't really bad at anything either. It isn't a standout, but still a solid choice. The only issue I'm having with mine, and it is a pretty subjective matter, is I find it kind of cramped. Yes it has a tonne of room in the backseat, but I find myself wedged in between the door and centre armrest. But it is cheap (to buy, insure, and run), reliable transportation. If thats what your looking for I don't think you could really go wrong. My goal is cheap, reliable, transportation from A-B without feeling like I'm shrinkwrapped. I need decent gas mileage.
I never really commuted with my car until recently, and I don't have much of a commute, but I am averaging 35mpgs. Its a mix of backroads and highway.
