First I took my car to dealer they said both rear struts need to be replaced?

What does the car have? I see shocks and separate spring on frame...
Does it use shocks?
They said only rear were bad, so can I only replace rear? or does it benefit to replace all?

***UPDATE: today when driving over some speed bumps I slowed down to like 1-2 mph and right after the front wheel went over the bump it was smooth, then the rear wheels made a bang noises like it bottom out or something, can someone plz elaborate why? What could be wrong?

how can they be bad? On a 2010 would this not be covered under warranty? Unless you loaded the car with 2klbs in the rear how could you have possibly blow your struts/shocks?

I have no idea which the Versa uses btw. I should look into that .

One of the rear tire has spot wear all around the inner tire thread. The car isn't covered under the bumper to bumper warranty, car has 38k miles on it.
Bumper to Bumper: 36 months / 36,000 miles
I bought the car like this, then when went in for oil change they found it. Dealer bought car said they won't cover it. Why would it be like this?

struts front shocks in back. and if its worn on the inner tread its an alignment issue except for the fact that u cant allign the rear suspenion so u could have a bent rear torsion bar

What does a rear torsion bar look like? where in rear it located? Any other thoughts? Thanks

sorry didnt mean torsion bar. Its a called a torsion beam axle and its the giant chunk of metal everything attaches to under the back of the versa. shcosk, wheels, springs all attach to it

Did you buy it fron a nissan dealership, or just a random used car dealership? And how long ago did you buy it. Most cars come with a 30 day warranty, and if there's a serious issue they need to fix it.

hhhmmm . . . elaborate please. Is this a common issue?

I have a 09 sedan. I currently have 88k miles on my oem tires. I rotated every 30k and the wear across my tires is absolutely perfectly even.

When I was researching proper lowering techniques, I the question of "rear wheel toe" came up.
While lowering my Versa, I paid attention to this and found it to be out of spec.
Later, this thread popped up: bad-tire-wear
My alignment shop seemed to be pretty spooked about messing with a "non-adjustable" axle assembly, but believe me, it can be done (properly).

Did you feel the suspension bottom out?
At any rate, you need to get under there and check things out. The louder the banging, the easier to find.

I felt like the rear suspension bottom out and as the rear wheels went over the bump it felt like the shocks/ wheels hit something.

All right then, go out and do the "bounce test"
Push down on the back of the car and get it bouncing the best you can. When you let go, it should oscelate no more than 1 1/2 times, give or take (back up, down, then back to level).
If it continues to bounce, you need shocks.
You should also be feeling this on the road with a mushy feel.
You may also witness oil coming from the shocks, which is a dead giveaway.
