Looking at the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Mobil-M1-108-Extended-Performance-Filter/dp/B004D5SUIC"]Mobil 1 M1-108[/ame] Extended Performance Oil Filter.

The M1-108 is the part that Amazon lists as compatible with my 2015 Versa.

I have read that the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Mobil-M1-110-Extended-Performance-Filter/dp/B005GYDBNS"] M1-110 [/ame] will fit the same threads and has the same seals, but has a slightly longer case and more filter media.

Of course, the Versa and Note have a lot of stuff crammed into the engine compartment, so I'm not sure if the longer case will fit.

Does anyone have experience using a slightly longer filter casing on their 1.6 Note or Versa?

Thanks in advance!

:wink

From what I can tell, the longer casing will NOT fit, as there is limited clearance in the engine compartment.

Found a Youtube clip of an oil change in a 2014 Versa, which has the same size engine and filter as the 2015.

I'll go with a standard filter the first time around, and if there seems to be room, I'll try a longer filter next time.

From this screen capture, it appears that the filter has limited clearance, all of which will be needed to remove the old filter and reinstall a new one...
