Hello to all. Owner of a lovely 2009 versa sl and have had the dreaded p0455 code for the past few months.

After reading some threads on here, I replaced the gas cap and vent control valve with brand new OEM parts from the dealer. Reset the code and it is still coming back. The gas cap is tight. yes.

Based on reading info about this wonderful evap system, a good option is to do one of those smoke tests. I really want to use that as a last resort.

I'm thinking of cleaning the purge valve and testing it out as my next step. Is there any other options I can try out before having to take it in for a smoke test? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
