Hi everyone, my wife's 2008 runs poorly due to cylinder 2 misfire.
I've changed:
Plug
Coil
Injector
Valve cover gasket
PCV
TPS

Plug is wet with fuel when I pull, and unburned fuel out the tailpipe obvious.

Due to the poor engine design, I cant run the dang thing without the intake manifold as it stalls.

The only other thing I can think of, is the wire harness must be damaged somewhere, I want to test for spark with an inline spark tester, but again, can't run the engine without the manifold, so it's either live with poor performance or get owned at the dealership.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

If you're using a known good coil and plug in #2 and it still misfires, it's not coil/plug related. Like you say, you're going to have to crank the ignition and test for voltage or put a test light to the wiring connector for #2. You may need to strip back the tape and back trace the wiring to that #2 coil to check for damage, green crusties, etc.
