Painted Calipers

So today I finally painted them.
Purchased the Duplicor Caliper Paint Kit from Canadian Tire for $25
Took off both front tires, taped em up, and painted multiple coats throughout the day. I just put the front tires back on.

Here's what I did so far :)
I'll post a full shot tomorrow when she is out of the garage!

I see alot of red in the pictures, the calipers, body, paint can and finger nails.

Other than that, looks great.
gotta be honest i was a little nervous when i saw the paint brush. 0.o but finished product looks great :)
dude, you should get your calipers painted blue...BLUE CALIPERS AND WHITE RIMS FTW!!!

Lol. The kit comes w/ a paint brush ... that way you don't have to take the calipers off :)

I bought the kit at Canadian Tire for $24.99. I only saw red, but I know people who have purchased Silver.
It is by "DUPLICOLOR" and it is a caliper paint kit. It comes w/ the cleaner, tape, brush, and can of paint. It was very easy to do. I would check your local parts store, or even Wal-mart might have it.
I took a few shots today. I didn't have time to wash her yet, when I do I will take better pictures. Here are some side shots for now :)

You seriously seriously need some tyre shine happening on that rubber love! :p

Clean car and grey/brown treads just let it down :S

Calipers are looking FINE though! :)
LoL! Yes I know. The car is actually dirty. Drove it about 200 kms today for an exam that I had in Scarborough (near Toronto). I usually put tire shine on, just wanted to take a pic while the weather was somewhat decent ... it's raining once again :( Hopefully tomorrow, if it's nice I'll be able to wash her and finish waxing her. Then I'll take some new pics :)
Okay, I washed her this morning. Here are some new pics :)

Is it always cloudy there? I barely see any hard shadows or blue skies.
Lol. Well we have not really had a summer here. We had one week of very hot weather (30 degrees each day) and by the end of that week we had a huge storm (with Tornados in some areas). Now it is like fall weather.
So yes, generally this summer has been either cloudy or raining. Not much fun :( But good time to wash the car when the sun is not out.
P.S. Right after washing and drying my Versa, it rained :( and she was still outside ...
So after the rain stopped I had to go back outside and redry her, and then park her in the garage! LOL! :)
Another reason my hubcaps need to go
looks great :) i have my blue paint in the mail :D
