Has anyone painted their wiper cowl? Mine is fading so I'd like to repaint it. The guys on the Frontier/Xterra forums have plastipped theirs and I've thought about it but I wanted to see if anyone has actually painted theirs instead of plastipping them. Opinions and pics are welcomed. :thumbsup:

Spray paint has better adhesion than plasti-dip against the elements. Go for Krylon interior-exterior semi flat black paint, best choice in your case.

Plastidip would probably look good. I'd prefer it over paint cause its harder to mess up dip and if it ever fades (what i'd be afraid of spray paint doing) you can just peel it and redo it.

Assuming work goes as planned today I should be home painting my wiper cowl this afternoon. Ill take pictures throughout the process and post them up tomorrow for those interested

I'd suggest cleaning with Purple Power, wash off, scuff with 3M red pad, rinse, spray adhesion promoter, then paint/clear!
