I follow these rules to keep my car pristine:

- I park waaaay out there when I'm at the mall or movies. Too many idiots throw their doors open with reckless abandon, especially people with shitboxes. I'm also a healthnut (420 is my only vice), so I don't mind the walk. I actually enjoy it.

- I park on the top levels of garages (or lowest, depending on the garage). I don't mind the extra stairs.

- When there are end spots, I'll take it... and park outside of my spot giving the car next to me extra room.

- I always look for parking spots that are alone. For example, the spot might be the lone spot, separated by a fire hydrant or an alley or loading zone. That way, there are no spots in front or behind me.

LOL!
I do the same thing. I park at the end of the lot ... I even managed to find an end spot at the Buffalo airport. I always back her in super close to the curb (at the end spot) so that there is even extra space beside the one possible spot .. lol ;)

Same here, especialy when I go to work. But sadly, someone at work hit my rear bumper, so there are two scratches, that look like license plate screws hit it. And on my drivers side rear pillar, there is a dent, but no scratches. I tried to protect her, but theres nothing I can do now. I use a touch up pen on the bumper, and chip marks on the front. But it comes back slowly. But the dent there for good, cause I dont like body filler. But u cant see the dent unless I tell you where its at, so Its not a bad one. Its like a long door ding. Ill have to take a pic one day.

I was sitting in my old car in a grocery store parking lot, gathering my stuff to go in and a lady pulled up next to me. She opened her door into mine pretty darn hard, looked me right in the eye and walked off. I left a note on her car mentioning how disrespectful the whole incident was. I'm sure she didn't care, but it made me feel better. Now, I park in the furthest places I can find and when I leave my car in the train parking lot, I park on an end spot, right up next to the curb. It's nice that the V is so slim so there's always TONS of empty space around her.

Some people are just ignorant and rude and could honestly care less about other people.

I try to do my part and park far away. I find that a lot of people today are very lazy and generally hate parking far away, so she's usually safe; but you just never know.

Oh I found my car's twin today. I always see it driving by my house, and I just went out to Best Buy (got New Moon on Blu-Ray) and took my mom grocery shopping, and I drove past the house. The man was just pulling out and I pointed, haha. I was like "There is my car's twin". Now I know where it lives (just a few houses down around the corner on our street).

Sometimes, I'll park REALLY, REALLY FAR AWAY and I will be the ONLY CAR for at least ten rows and when I come back, some d-bag will be parked right next to me! And there are tons of spaces all around! It's like WTF?

LOL. That bitch would have come out of the store saying, "Damn, someone parked a pile of ash where my car was!" if it was me.

thought about it but figured karma would have gotten to her and i if i would have stooped to her level. iluvmyversa, if u like the twighlight stuff, youd prob like true blood on hbo. its awesome!
I agree with karma, but I think Karma would have not been my answer then. All I have to say is, I keep a mini tool box in my trunk, and it has a hammer, MUAHHHH, lol. But She would have had a nice dent on her car, and the nice little note with it, lol. Or not do that, and cuss that bitch up and down, and follow her till she got in her car and left the parking lot, lol.

VersaS2009,

Lots of parking lots have cameras now. Gotta be mad careful. The walk and key is the easiest, stealthiest method. An especially sweet touch would be if you got the gas cap, that way you KNOW they can't miss it. :D

But I did the gas cap thing to someone. I opened her gas door, and left it open. She came in the next day saying she bought a gas locking cap, cause someone had stolen fuel from her. I lmao!! We had someones car in the parking lot get permanent marker all over her 05 camry SE. I would poop my pants!!

You forgot one descriptive word about the cameras, crappy. How many times have you watched the news and seen fuzzy video footage of a guy all up in the camera's face and "they still need help identifying the suspect." Tap out the mexican hat dance on the hood and beat feet out of there.:woot:

with todays camersa and the ir technology employed in higher end cameras you can get real good pictures from there, the biggest thing is what the DVR's are set to record at. which a lot of places use a lower quality to store more information. alot of dvrs now go back after x days and will allow it to automatically go back and remove images with no motion to allow a higer quality and still maintain a decent viewing history.
