Peugeot 205 Rear Beam Bearings

Pips. this is a huge problem on my new Pugeot 205 as the part is difficult to find. That's why being a versa owner as well, i might got the answer on this club. It just happened that the bearings are having problems on it. Where should I get the bearings for a Rear Beam rebuild on my 205GTI? I noticed that they are for sale in the UK in kits with some other Peugeot parts, which include other seals, or does somewhere here sell these kits? on the other hand the beam I will be rebuilding I do not know the history of the only thing i noticed is that there is no chamber on it...

Probably not going to find much on here... have you tried a Peugeot forum?

One of the downsides to owning a somewhat obscure car (for North America anyways) is trying to find parts... Then paying for parts...

+1 I was just looking at a 2000 Titan Phoenix motorcycle this past weekend. The company went out of business but has re-emerged with different owners but they don't sell any parts for the former Titan motorcycles. I couldn't find parts anywhere for this bike. The bike was in mint condition and the guy wouldn't lower the price so i decided not to buy it simply because i couldn't find any one that sold parts for it.

That sucks...

I had a 1970 Lotus Europa and found myself in the same boat. Hard to get parts for unless you were hoarding parts cars. Sold it. Wasn't exactly a heartbreaking thing to sell, the novelty wore off pretty quick when I'm 6'1 lol

my wife orders books from bookdepository.com in UK all the time, and shipping is cheap or free. i hope shipping wont be bad for the Peugeot parts
edit just bought Peugeot 206 RC '03 in GT5, 170hp nice car, gotta get rid of white paint job tho
