I think to make more than one album you have to be a contributor to the site.

How about to add more pics to an existing album? I've tried doing that and it doesn't give me the option to add pics.

how many do you have in your album? have you tried uploading one at a time?

Welcome to the site, did you get the uploads to work, regular members are allowed 10 pics at 100000bytes and contribs are 1,000,000 and 50 pics, i know there are sizes as well there is no limit that i am aware of on albums though.
