Hello people i have a nissan tiida(versa) 2006 1.8 HB
and it runs fine but it uses too much gas compared to the other one my friend has
i can go with a full tank less than 300km (180mph) Highway and in city its far more worse cant it be spark plugs?
car has 180000 km (111000mph) on odometer

it has mr18 engine and auto transmission

and i drive economically 2500 rpm max so its not my driving style and i service it on time

105000 miles is when the first major tune up is due so plugs,air filter, and fuel filter. Also check to see if the Mass Air Flow sensor is dirty. And maybe swap in new o2 sensors as well.

Yes the mass air flow can be cleaned. all a maf sensor deos is heat up a wire with electrical current and measures the resistance caused buy the air cooling the wire. dirt and debris will cause false readings just spray the wire with throttle body and sensor cleaner. the mass air flow sensor is bolted on the air filter box and the o2 sendors can be done with jack and jack stands In 10 min
