I have a 2017 Versa Sedan. Sometimes the radio will come on when I start the car but the display is blank and I can’t change the station or volume or turn it back off. If I leave it and go back later and start the car it works fine. This is an internment issue I have been have for about a month.

there is a bulletin about a software update....you need to bring it to a dealership and have it checked.

I don’t have that type of Radio/navigation system. Just a basic radio and CD player with Bluetooth.

you should go ask...check if any dealer in you area offers free diagnostic (mine does), so at least you know what's wrong. radio might be faulty, too.

That was one of the last factory radios that could be upgraded to aftermarket, 2020 and up have no options yet. those from that year have no software upgrades at all they are basic and just start going out over time. cheapest option would be to have a aftermarket head unit installed. Pioneer Nex series would fit and look awesome in that car.
