I want to covert my rear drum brakes to a set of disk brakes.

Does anyone have any leads on someone who has done this??

Its not worth it. Having your hand brake has more benefits and your front does most of the braking as is. If you need more stopping power you can upgrade your pads and rotors.

I know for some cars you can buy parts and mix and match them.

I looked at the kit for a 95 suzuki sidekick which I own and it was more involved than I wanted it to be. You had to replumb the brakes and add a porpitional valve. You also had to add a line lock for parking brakes. I use the current parking brake as a ghett LSD and 180s. With the disk conversion you jam the brakes and push the line lock button so pressure stays in the rear brakes.

The later ones have anti lock brakes and disks and uses them to help in traction off road.
