Hi All,

I've been having problems with the lock actuator on the rear passenger door of my 2010 Versa Hatchback. For about the past week, I've been hearing a slight whine coming from the door when I turn the car off (when the locks open), and recently, the lock will not always lock/unlock when the keyfob is pressed.

I took apart the door yesterday to try to lube everything up with some WD40, thinking maybe it was just friction causing all the problems. I think it may have helped a little, but I think in the end the actuator is failing (although I'm very open to other suggestions!!).

How hard/how much would it be to replace the actuator?

Also, on a somewhat related note, what do you all use to replace the sticky seal between the sheet of plastic and the door? Is it just piped on gasket maker, or is there something else I should get? I always just press the plastic back on and it normally stays in place.
