Receiver Hitch

:question:We bought a rear spoiler for our V and now I won't be able to use a trunk style bike rack. At least I don't think I will, since my rack attaches to the top of the hatch and that would put too much weight on the spoiler and possibly brake it.

For those of you that have a spoiler, have you found a bike rack that would work?

Since I don't think it's possible, my husband says we can just install a receiver hitch, such as this http://www.etrailer.com/pc-H~24798.htm?vehicleid=20089868, and use a hitch bike rack.
Anyone seen a V w/ one of these? How bad does it look? Or is it pretty much hidden?

Thx for any ideas!

the hitch doesnt look that bad... its visible but unless your going for a street look it isnt bad at all. i actually prefer it on Vs with the roof rack. gives it that kind of xterra outdoorsy look
Personally recommend the roof rack due to the fact some dealerships will void the transmission warranty on a vehicle with a tailer hitch installed.

Did you ever check them out on the Yakima site? What do you think about it?
I did check the yakima site, but it does the same thing as the one I have.
The hooking points at the top of the hatch would go around the Spoiler. Can you visualize what I'm talking about?
Wouldn't that put pressure on the spoiler and possibly brake it w/ 3 or 4 bikes mounted?
I don't want a roof rack.
I'll have to keep looking and see if I can find one that will work or install the hitch.
