So today was a nice day outside, so I thought I would take some pics of my V!

Bought my 2011 Versa SL in August 2010. It was a day after my old 1996 Ford Thunderbird blew the head gasket and bent a rod. Originally went to the Nissan dealership to buy a Titan. I asked "I get a used Titan for under 24k out the door?" The dealership said no right away. I went over to the new cars and found this beauty. This is the picture of when I got home with the V.

The V came with:
SL package
Sunroof
Bluetooth
Navigation

Now 2.5 years and nearly 32 thousand miles later. This is what the V looks like today.

The only modifications I have made to the car was only upgrade the sound system. This was done in September of last year. I replaced the stock speakers with Infinity Kappas (ran by a 4 channel amp) and added a sub. The thing is though. The amp and sub are under the front seats of the car. I ran all new speaker wire also for the install. I loved it that the SL already had tweeters so I could put the kappa tweeters in the same place.

Pictures of stuff and during the install:

Front speakers (components) and rear speakers (three way components):

I plan on this summer to make a place for my Kicker sub remote gain control. Also this fall, I plan on adding a CAI and cat back exhaust. Thanks!

Thanks! I had it detailed two weeks ago (wash, clay, wax). Got to keep it looking good!

Yes :iagree: I give mine a full detail every spring or summer (with a clay & wax).
Mine's over 5 years old now, and she still shines up beautifully ... that's why I love the red :D
Ordered an AEM cold air intake today. It's the gun metal gray one. The cost was $196 shipped from autoanything.com!

It was only 12 bucks more than the Takeda short air. I thought that it was a good deal!

The cold air intake finally came today. I'm planning on installing Thursday afternoon. A interesting note: the AEM intake I have was manufactured in June 2013. Nice to see that they make this thing.

Damn good deal indeed, they typically go for 250.
Installed the CAI last Thursday. It give a nice look under the hood. Have driven about 100 miles. Oh, it sounds very nice too!

Awesome! I see in your sig you had a K&N drop in filter before, big improvement over it? And what'd you do with the drop in filter? I'm looking for one for cheap!
You can tell a big difference between the K&N and AEM CAI. There definitely is better throttle response from the engine/CVT. I really don't care about flat out flooring it as I am in town all the time. I also think that this could possibly gain some MPGs too!

Also the people with CVT will know about this. When you press the throttle, you can feel the CVT vibration in the pedal. It is nearly eliminated with a CAI. The MR18 loves this thing.

All the parts that I have left over are still in the CAI box. I'll get the K&N out and clean it up.
if you find out that it makes better gas mileage please let me know! ima try to get the best possible mileage out of mine that i can BTW car looks great!

I have the AEM CAI too, my mileage has been the same with or without the CAI. Even when I had roof racks on the car, the mileage didn't really change at all.
cool, really want that sunroof so bad :drool5::drool5::drool5:

I just filled up last night. I use Shell 93 octane, and I saw an increase of 1.75 miles per gallon in the city. This is the first time I got above 30 mpg in the city! :)

I know that the rate of return of getting 20 more miles to my tank at $3.50 per gallon here would require lots of fill ups to equal the $190 dollars I spent. However, I think that the throttle response and great sound make up for it!
So over the weekend, I got my new tires put on my V. At nearly 40,000 miles, the contipros were not cutting it anymore.

Got my Goodyear Eagle Sport tires from Discount Tire Direct for 90 bucks a piece. I thought that was a good deal for them. My local Nissan dealership put them on Saturday and aligned the front.

They ride soooooooooooooo much better than the contipros. I'm falling in love again on how my V drives!

So all things must come to an end, and I traded my V in for a 2012 Nissan Altima yesterday! A picture of the Altima is below:

The Altima is a SR with the 3.5L V6. So much more power than the V and 28mpg on the highway. Also, it has 30,500 miles on it, a real plus!

Overall, I really really really loved my V! I just was wanting an upgrade. I'm going to stay on these forums because they provide so much information. I enjoy reading so many comments about the V! Thanks all!

Nice upgrade. I love the 4th gen. SR models.

That is what I thought initially. The cost of the car before tax, etc was 19,400 and they gave me 11,000 for my V. I thought that it was a good deal with the upgrade in power and overall ride for around 10,000.
Thats a good deal. I would love an SR model in manual but they're all CVT!
