Anyone know where to get a repair manual? Not looking for the factory repair manual, but a chilton's or haynes etc. I can't find one and not sure if anyone sells one. I had this problem when i had my 96 300zx.
Great information. The manual had some details on on the MR18DE noise type and trouble shooting guide in the EM section. I have an appointment with Nissan Service on Tuesday to review the engine noise which is before warm up but continues while driving. Nissan documented it as clearance between piston and cylinder wall a few months ago.
The question is how much noise is too much. I can't find a way to justify this as a problem without having some standard. Would a compression test help. Seems that the standard is 217 psi with a low of 175 psi from the manual you showed. It is a 2011 1.8 with 11,000 miles. The manual does have a specific area for NVA, or Noise, vibration and harshness, but does not show any limits. Any thoughts.
My 2015 Nissan Versa Note has started making rattling noise when accelerating at low speed then the sound dies away when it reaches a certain speed. It doesn't always happen but it's happening more frequently lately. It's less than 5 yrs with 75,000km. I've regularly changed engine oil according...
We have a 2012 Nissan versa hatchback and something odd just happened. We were walking out to the car, didn’t get in yet, and all of a sudden the horn started sounding and the headlights were flashing on and off. We got in the car and put the key in ignition and started the car...
Hi, I had my Nissan Versa Note for a year now (2018.5) and I have a question regarding playing MP3s on the USB drive connected to the USB port.
When I had my Chevy Sonic it sorted the song tracks in alphabetic order. Now in my Nissan Versa Note the song tracks apparently play in date created...
I have a 2016 Versa Note with about 68,000 miles on it.
Last month, I noticed the AC was not so cold when idling. Once moving it blow cold. I made a mental note to check it out sometime.
A few weeks later, I was stuck in traffic and saw the red temperature overheat light go on. I shut off...
2008 versa sedan brake lights stay on. They turn off as soon as the 10 amp fuse is removed. No other electrical issues. Battery is obviously drained quickly as the brake lights are continually on. Would the brake switch on the brake pedal cause this issue?
Any help would be appreciated
