Replacing the gear shift light bulb on 2018 Nissan Versa Note SV

Does anyone know how to replace the gear shift light bulb on my 2018 Nissan Versa Note SV. I've watched a number of YouTube videos and so far what I saw was that you had to take the console off, I was able to get it loose but not totally off as the gear shift is in the way. Supposedly the light bulb is on the driver side and pretty hard to get too, as it's tucked underneath. I also was wondering if it's a fuse instead of a light bulb. Thank you in advance!

More likely the bulb than fuse as they normally don't assign a fuse to that one circuit, too low a load. Meaning, if a fuse you likely would have other things out too.

Yes, makes total sense. Thanks for your reply :)
That bulb will usually be on the same circut as the dash lights.

To remove the shifter, pull down on the shaft cover. will go down about 1/4 to 1/2 inch, and expose a clip.
CAREFULLY remove clip(it will fly into the wherever easily!), and pull shifter knob and shaft cover up.

Cue pre-pubescent laughter now.
