Okay, it's another one of these threads, I apologize in advance.

I'm planning on getting 17 inch rims and I and split between two widths, I would like to have 17x7 or 17x7.5.

So one of my question is what would be the recommended tires dimension for both size that won't throw the speedometer off too much and would not rub at all.

The other question is my Versa is currently on Eibachs Pro Lowering Springs (about 1 - 1.75 inch drop) and if I were to get 17 inch rims would my stance be the same? I would like to have 17 inch rims but maybe get it a bit lower, maybe an inch or so.

Thanks.

If you stay as close as possible to the over diameter of the tire the speedometer will be the same. Therefor you won't be able to lower the car with different tire sizes and keep the speedo the same.

215/45-17s are .15" taller, will raise the car .075" (about 2mm)
205/45-17s are .19" shorter, will lower the car .095" (about 2.5mm)

here ya go! Tire size calculator

it will tell you the difference in your speedometer speed, in addition to a bunch of other info. happy testing. OEM tires i believe are 185/60/15
