Hello all!

I've been searching everywhere, google, auto parts stores diagrams, and forums, but I can't find instructions on replacing the belt on my 2013 Versa SV 1.6. I'm used to vehicles with an auto belt tensioner that just loosens with a wrench, but this one seems to have a manual tensioner according to the owners manual and it doesn't budge any way I turn it. I mean the car is moving up and down from the pressure from all the pulling but nothing seems to loosen the belt, is there a trick to this car that I'm missing? I've found instructions that suggest I remove the passenger tire, plastic covers, and use a 14mm wrench but this doesn't have an auto belt tensioner so it doesn't work :frown I really appreciate any help I can get!!

I wasn't able to find much on this engine, but if yours looks like the one in the picture, then you'd have to loosen the nut on the pulley, and then bolt that faces the front of the car that screws into the stud that holds the first nut. I hope that makes since. At least it does in the mess I call my head.
