I was getting ready to replace my fpr, but since I had the original battery, I decided to test it. It was about ready to die, so I replaced the battery. It fired right up, no problem. Went to pick up lunch and turn the key and nothing, no cranking at all. I turned the key off and back on and it started back up. Now I got in the car to go to work and again, nothing at all when turning the key. Tried 10 times and won't start. Lights and radio go on and when you turn the key you hear a slight click and then nothing.

something is shorting out. It may be that the battery ground is a bit corroded and just needs cleaning, or the terminals are loose.

try jumping the starter. Its better to do this out of the car, but if you're feeling lazy it can be done with it in. Look up the procedure online, but be aware, it produces quite the punch, so be safe.

If the starter kicks, you can rule out an issue with the starter.
