Southern Ontario GTA Summer 2014 Meet UP & Cruise!
Hello all GTA/SWO V-Forum Members:
I tried to organize this last year but we had some folks who could not make it out last minute and a rain cancellation another time. So I am trying this again.
Here is what I have planned:
Cruise Date: Saturday August 9, 2014
Cruise Time: Start at 3:30PM at meet point (see below)
The game plan is to meet up in Hamilton at the Burger King (210 Centennial Parkway North) then drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls. There are some very nice scenic routes to drive and we can stop and take pictures along the way when we see a good spot.
We could drive for a bit then also stop for a coffee/tea to wrap things up at a final destination. I did put together a nice 1-2 hour route for us to take.
I've picked the starting location of the Burger King location as it has loads of parking where we can line up our cars (it's in a Shopping Mall parking lot, close to the road - and so happens to be right across the street from a local Nissan Dealership!), and then drive away from there.
If you are interested, please send me your name, email address and cell phone number so I can create a list and then update everyone as we get closer to the day. I would then send out a go or no-go message the morning of as I will check the weather to see if it co-operates.

I've driven around the Golden Horseshoe Area before and it is a very nice drive, if you have not done it before. We have many members from this area as well and it would be great to get you all out, especially the new members and Versa Owners!
I am not charging anything or have any investments in this outing, just stepping forward to take charge and try to put something together.
Hopefully we can get a good turnout and have some fun. Please let me know if you are interested ASAP by sending me the information I have requested and if you have any questions, let me know.

Well, basically Ridge Rd W, Mountainview, N Service Road, Lock St, Lakeshore with some others thrown in. End up going thru NOTL to finish at Floral Clock. Aside from one bend at the top mountainview is straight down, where as 30 is twisting and turning all the way down. Then when you get to the bottom you can turn right then mountainview is the next left and that takes you over the highway to the north service rd. Not to mention the roads to get to mountainview took a hell of a beating this winter and for anyone with lowered suspension or low profile tires its a bit rough.

Hi well looks like this is a no go again. Only Jay and I can make it out.
How about a saturday in later September for a fall affair? Anyone interested please post some dates that are open for you. I will see the feedback and then confirm a date.
