Springs and Fog Light Switch

The only special tool that comes to mind is a spring compression for the front. You need this to proper removal of the springs.

There is a blank spot down by the mirror control and dash light dimmer... you could put the foglight switch there maybe?

Spring tool: FREE... go to Advance Auto and leave a deposit, use the tool, return and get all your $$ back. The Install is actually quite easy.

Fog light switch: As ADOvers stated... use the blank panel by the mirror. That is where mine is. Actually the kit I got, has an OEM looking light up switch that clicks right in.

Which kit did you get??? I am interested it getting one for my car.

Yea steed77 where did you get the switch I totally wished this one clicked in but its way too big and I totally forgot about Autozone lending out tools . Thanks!

Interesting, I like the black halo lights they have on ebay. How did you get the fog lights mounted inside of the trim?

Hey steed77 thanks for the info. I just bought that same kit off ebay. Looking forward to getting it... but wondering what black finisher trim plates you had to cut? Also... I just noticed your car collection. I approve in a big way.

This is the kit I used... been on for better than a year. looks great still. I did change out the bulbs when I installed in, but that is just for taste. wanted a bit "whiter" color.

The trim part you see in this picture fits in one place.... the trash. Just cut out your non-foglight parts installed on the car now. Very easy with a razor

ADOversa... Thanks. They are fun. I am thinking of changing out the BMW soon, not sure what direction I will go. I sorta like the new Ford Edge Sport with the mustang motor in it... not sure yet.

I'm still a bit unclear about what your cutting. I cut the whole assembly thats in the car right out?

Also... New Edge is sick. My neighbour has one. So awesome.

i found them when i typed in VERSA FOG LIGHT into ebay. scroll down u should see it, it ships from california for around $120.

Well I got them installed on my car and I see what you mean about the plastic trim piece haha. Other than that, awesome kit. I couldn't imagine any easier wiring. Very happy with how bright they are too! And the switch looks great! Thanks for pointing me to this kit steed77!
