This has happened three times. Twice this morning...

I was cruising on back country roads, about 40-45 mph and went downhill. Now often when going downhill I'll see the RPMs hit about 3K. So it almost feels like engine breaking on my Prius. I figured this was just part of the

This time the RPM's not only went up to around that 3K mark, the needle was visibly fluxuating. And the vehicle was as well. It felt like the CVT transmission was having difficulty deciding "just where" it should be. I figured it was just a fluke.

Should I be concerned? Is this normal CVT behavior? Insights?
