Strut/Spring Knocking Noise

So I installed my Tein springs a couple of days ago and started to notice a knocking sound coming from the front end of the car. When I turn the steering wheel to the left or right (about 1/4 turn) it makes a knocking sound. However once I have it fully turned to the left or right it drives fine with no weird sounds and as soon as I turn the wheel back it will knock again.

Do I have to wear it in?
Get an alignment? (I do plan on doing this in a couple of weeks)
Joints?

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced any problems and resolved their issues

never heard of this. only time I ever had a popping/spring sound was when the bolts on my struts were too long (strut bar i had came w wrong screws). but when i backed the screws up the springs stopped making a popping sound. thats the only thing i can think of
I actually just read on a similar problem someone else was having on the nico forums. I installed the strut to the fender in the air and not on the ground, so none of the weight was on the struts. Going to try this out and hopefully this will solve me problem
You blew the strut bro. Lol just kidding. Hopefully not. Did you torque everything down to spec? You should retighten everything after awhile, maybe after a day or 2. Do you need an alignment cause your car pulls left or right?
Are your springs seated correctly and secured? Could be slipped out of place and also check if everything is tighten up and the upper nuts
i have front end noise with my springs....not sure what's loose or broken yet since it's been raining here whenever i have free time to look...drives me nuts and now my alignment is off again...i hope it's nothing serious :(
