What brands are the subs/ amp? How much is he selling them for?
This is totally incorrect. Not all subs are designed to handle the same RMS power, so to say 600 max is weak to run (2) 12" subs...thats relative to what they handle RMS...So if the amp is 600watts max, but 300wrms, and the subs handle 150-300wrms, it would be a great amp, considering its clean compliant power. Distortion isnt a matter of cranking it as much as it is a product of accurate gain level matching. The gain on the amp isnt a volume or loudness control, you match it with the voltage of your head unit in order to NOT have issues with distortion. OP if you buy this, more info like what amp would be great, I will help walk you thru proper gain matching. Is that amp 600 peak? or RMS? If its peak it sounds a little weak to run 2 12's, May get some distortion if you crank it at all. Good price though, maybe pick it up and get a better amp? Or just run one of the subs? I have 1 12" in my V, it is retarded loud... Like painful ear drum loud lol. Just some options
Relax there buddy, just relax :facepalm:Not a fan at all of the Sony subs OR amps, but if this is your 1st sub/box/amp setup, thats a great price.
