Suspension Upgrade - Parts to Keep

This is just a reference post for any Versa owners looking to upgrade to coilover suspension, or another aftermarket suspension. The question of "what do I need to keep" gets asked often and little info is given from most suspension manufacturers. This is not a "how to" on installing coilovers, just a list of the OEM parts you need to reuse or replace alongside upgrading your suspension.

1st GENERATION

Sedan & hatchback (C11, 2006-2012):

• Nissan 55248-3U000
Rear shock absorber boot cap/tower base
• Front OEM sway bar & end links (optional)

Sedan (N17, 2012-2019):

• Nissan 54342-1HJ0B
Front top mount + bushing ring ("stopper insulator")
• Nissan 54320-1HJ0A
Front strut pillowball bushing/insulator
• Nissan 54040-1HK0B
Top hat/bushing seat assembly
• Nissan 55248-1HM0A
Rear shock absorber boot cap/tower base
• Front OEM sway bar & end links (optional)

Hatchback (Note E12, 2014-2019):

• Nissan 54342-1HJ0B

do i need shorter shocks for the Tanabe 1" lowering springs or is stock ok?

also looking at Rev9 coilovers - do i need additional hardware like toe/camber adjustment if I only do the highest height setting on them? (1" lower than stock, same as Tanabe)

if someone has these installed would appreciate some advice
