I personally dont like the Tanabe.. its more expensive then the Stillen, and it just sounds terrible. The stillen sounds real good.
You are right but, theres no real catbacks in production yet. I think DC made one but hasnt started selling them its going for $580 or that funky ass BS brand that someone was suppose to make on Nico like a year ago and still hasnt... It is cheaper to build your own setup. As i am doing on my SE-R.I myself after all my years of modding have found it's cheaper and usually more beneficial to get one made then buy one of these big name companies. Though it is much easier to slap one of those on.
I like some nice mandrel bends a magnaflow oval muffer and the biggest resonator you can fit. This goes for any car not just the versa. Piping size would probably be 2.25" on a V if it were me just because of the small engine.
If you go to the versaspeed.com website and at the bottom left is a vid of the Tanabe...and since your in our neck of the woods check out socalversaclub.com website you'll see about our meets and if you decide to come out to one you'll see the car in the vid and the sound has deepened since the vid was made now that it's broken in...I'll have to redo it...when I get some time. And if you come to one of the AutoX where we have some fun with our Versa's you'll see the same car again in action...great place to try out the different parts to see if they really work as advertised! And not just sell them.Any 1 have links to where I can listen to it. Im getting it for 300 and just making sure its sounds good to me before I jump the gun on it.
