I just wanted to post up some pics of the go kart... give me something else to do...

This is the cart when I bought it, in fact I took this picture right before I paid the guy $150 for it. You can see the old engine, the old tires and the way the old seat was... This was actually a cart for kids... like no older than ten.


These pictures are of the new engine installed... I got it from harbor freight on sale $114, with tax... in these pictures you can see the seat is still made for a child...

No videos. yes, i want to get a cam for it, but idk. it only does about 34mph at the moment, gets there fast though, i want to either mod it or buy an R6or R1 engine to put up there... like this guy. Couldnt make the video work right, but whatever...

Nice work! I especially like the hydraulic brake setup. Where'd you source that?
I have a 5hp Honda engine on my pressure washer that doesn't see much use. I often think that that engine would make an excellent cart motor.
I recently became a Grandpa to a baby boy, so maybe it's time to get crackin'.

the brake came from ebay, was about $34 shipped, and works like you wouldn't believe.

They are fun as shit. I been thinking about moving the steering wheel and wheels back 6 inches... it doesn't like to turn very well, and i think that would help a great deal.
