I dunno about the embedding, the links work though

what did you use to tint?
I used VHT niteshades.
Can't wait to see the pictures!
Anyone working on fixing the photo links?
Ah excellent, thank you. Indeed it looks impressive, I'm more than happy with the results :D
looks great and easy to do but is it as easy as it looks just spray and whaala?...im scared to do it but love it.
Looks good. Im thinking about tinting the clear part of my sedan tails.

Well the prep and paint time altogether took about an hour lol. Taped off the area, wiped the surface with alcohol, sanded down with 800 and 1000 grit sandpaper, wiped with alcohol again. Start with a thin THIN spray of niteshades and then wait 10min until the next layer lol. This stuff will run like crazy of ya spray too much at once. I did about 5 layers to get it that dark.

thats not too long I think i could handle that....MAYBE...I didn't know you had to sand down the lights:question:...you sand down the actual light??? How do you know when to stop sanding or when its prepped enough???
Yea sanding the surface helps the tint adhere better to the plastic. Start with the 800 grit and sand it down until the lens is really fogged up. It'll feel rough untill you use the 1000 grit to make the surface finer.

What it'll look like after sanding.

Then wipe it down with rubbing alcohol to remove the dust and prep the surface for tint.

It is really REALLY essential to start spraying EXTREMELY THIN LAYERS so that it won't run on you. Wait like 10 min until the next pass of tint.
