Tire sensing unit question:

When one exchanges steel rims with custom rims, what are the steps to keep the tire sensing units intact. Thanks again.

The TPMS unit is held to the wheel with an aluminum nut on the outside of the wheel. You just need to loosen the nut and take the sensor out of the wheel. Installation is reverse of the removal. Torque the nut to 8 Nm. (double check the service manual)
it wont work. with aftermarket rims the valve stem hole is bigger then the senors. so you would need to buy some from a tire web site. thats what i had to do
