My 09 had ABS brakes and the car stopped just fine in any condition. Plus having ABS brakes, when in need the rear brakes can be activated to help the stopping of the car. There are sensors that also monitor the weight of the car to help judge how much pressure of the brakes are needed. But none of this will help you if you dont have ABS, lol!
