Hello, I bought a 2012 Nissan Versa Sedan about a month ago. I now have the transmission fluid sensor alert showing on my dash. I am not an overly mechanically inclined person. Is this indicative of my car having low transmission fluid? It is my first CVT transmission so I am a little clueless. My car has 151000 miles give or take. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If I were you, I would take the car into the dealership or transmission repair facility, and have them take a look at it. If you do have a CVT transmission, adding fluid to it must be done correctly or you can end up with all kinds of issues.

Thank you. I made an appointment at Nissan for them to look at it. :)
