Turbo kit

So why is there only one turbo versa in the us?? I hVe been reading everything I can find about it and it seems that the biggest part is the header I have one made already and I am now working on pluming every thing in I'm just worried about the ecu !! I can make more manifolds if any one is interested in buying one I have a hr16de so if u want one for a mr18 I'll need template of ur stock manifold flange thanks for any an all help!! An if u don't like to here about another turbo kit I'm sorry !! I am 18 an it has taken me not even two weeks to find out everything I need an have a manifold made I have new injectors coming and I live a very small town with close to no versas or any small cars it's all big trucks here so the tuning is really worrying me I have several people that say they think they can take car of it but any help is great thanks!! FYI help is telling me how to do it or who to ask or where to go not saying save ur time any money I have boosted 7 cars and 3 trucks in my life by my self but none of them were fule injected so this is a new world and I'm not going to start with a car that every one has I want to do this to be different I am really sorry to every one I make mad with this post ... I really don't want to here how dumb I am I have seen a lot of people say that in other forms an it made me think if be better off going to like civic forms and asking this question rather then here so please prove me wrong !!

Welcome! For making your posts easier to read and understand I highly suggest breaking it out in paragraphs. It was a bit difficult to follow.

I don't know of any turbo HR16's in the US. Could you provide links to that vehicle? Also do you have any pics of your manifold?

Goodluck on the turbo charging! I don't see why you can't do it. I think even stock injectors and a way to tune the ECU and you could get a nice bump in power. I am pretty sure there are ways to tune the stock ECU as I have seen companies flashing Versa ECU's right on this forum. I can't remember the name, osirus or uprev or something.

You seem to know what you're doing. Been only 18 and having already worked on so many cars you'll have no trouble figuring things out I have no doubt. It's not that people are scared of boosting their Versas, the problem is the funds needed to do so. The biggest problem been as you mentioned the manifold and ECU but if you have already figured those out, then you are ahead of the game. We love build threads here so please start one if you can. I don't know about the Honda community but we here at the versa one are very friendly and supportive of anything to help raise interest in these little go-getters lol. Oh I almost forgot, Welcome =)

SR sitting in the garage but I only have 13k miles, kinda feel bad just swapping it. Turbo kit was cheap so I wanna see if I can make it work, if it blows it blows then swap but if it works now we have another option. Another 50hp on a Note seems fun, better than that Nismo crap. All looks no go

if you're talking about the Nismo Note....we dont even get it here, and there haven't even been any specs released for it as far as i know, but besides that the JDM market gets the supercharged engine to begin with so i could definitely see them tweaking that engine for more performance...would be interesting to see if the honda fit turbo kit works for the Note though, only thing i would be concerned about is that we have no way of tuning the ECU for it since we dont have any companies that do that for our cars as far as i know... definitely keep me in the loop though Necos

I can weld but the only problem is we are so far away. But yes money does play a big factor. Fire now my plan is a drop and some work wheels and thats all

If you're serious about getting more manifolds made, then whenever I get a header, I'll donate my factory MR18 manifold :grin I want some kind of power adder too, because doing any swap in the versa just isn't worth it to me. Unless I got a MR20 on the CHEAP

What model Works were you wanting? I saw a set of euroline's that were 4x114.3 but they were 18's which imo is too big for the Versa

Ive was looking at the work emotion kai's 17" but rhey have a 47+ offset and they runn 1700.00
Im saving up for a set of work meisters 16" with a lip but they run 2500.00 and like 1700.00 without a lip I found them on jhpusa.com

Check out TFworks.com Chugchug3, you can get the Kai's there for under 1500. Not to mention all the other wheels they have.

I love Kai's!! <3 I'd check eBay too and just keep an eye out for any refurbed ones or used ones in good condition.
