Someone posted this on the FIT forums. I don't know if it is true or not, but if so, this totally sucks. What I don't get is, don't the rims have (i think they are called) lock/lug nuts? Isn't that what it is for, so that others can not remove the rims/tires and steal them???

Check this out.

Unfortunately this is true and even more unfortunate is the fact that wheel locks are usually very easy to break and remove.

Its sad, but like I always say, there's only truly about 8% of the worlds population that are real decent people, so you gotta expect this shit to keep on happening.....
yea its true people steel rims all the time!
helll i got my HUB CAPS stolen?
whats the point to that?
nothing..
ive seen peoples cars on blocks though in the morning..
its not cool
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so not cool, that really sucks when it happens.
An expensive car like that should be locked up in a garage. If they can afford that car, they can afford the extra payment for a garage.

Lol! Yes I would have that baby tucked into a garage too!
That is jacked up!....What, too early?
Terrible. Hey ILMV, that quote you threw out @ the other forum:

"Plus, a friend of mine, her dad drove to work with his window rolled down every day as he did not have A/C. He is now deaf in his left ear from that. "

That was so funny lol. Not so funny for the guy though.

her dad should have invested in some window visors, that way he would be partially deaf...

Jeez...that's past the point of pathetic...if it's an 80K car, why steal the wheels/tires? Wouldn't they just try for the whole car?...

I guess that's why you can't have anything nice with people like that out in the world...or keep it somewhere safe with better security. :badidea:
i cant see nothing lmao what are u guys and girls talking about????????
