Upper Motor Mount

Hello everyone,

I have a 2007 Versa 1.8 Hatchback, I recently took it to have the oil change and the mechanic pointed out that the upper motor mount was cracked (I have no idea how this happened:frown2:) so, they have not been able to establish the part number, actual name of the part or price. Here is a picture of the part I need to replace.

The part looks like a "bone" type. Can you guys point me in the right direction here? What it the actual name of this part? Where can I find this part? Is there anyway I can install this myself? It seems pretty straight forward... I only see two screws.

Thanks in advance,

JP

Can't see pic but I'm assuming by the name that it is what they called it exactly, motor mount lol. This part keeps the engine in place and prevents it from having any major vibration that might damage other components of the engine. Never installed one myself but if it's the upper one than it must not be that hard to replace. Good Luck =)
Check out this website you should be able to find the part number and decide if you want to order it yourself.

That's strange that you can't see the picture... I see it on the posting. Anyhow, thanks for your wishes.

This is great!! I found the part!!! It is called ROD-ASSY TORQUE part number 11350V sells for $66.97!

Thanks so much!
Thats an average price. I had to replace one in my old car and it was the back one so it was a bit harder to replace but they're easy for the most part. Are you replacing it yourself or taking it to a shop?
I'm tempted to replace it myself because I only see two screws there and they seem to be easy to get to. I called the shop and they charge me $40.00 for the labor..
Not sure which route to take yet....
If they are only charging $40. for labor then they expect it to be done in a bout 15 minutes, if that. With that in mind, I'd say you could probably do it fairly easily.
