The brake lights went out. I would push the brake pedal down and no lights.
I changed the fuse. no lights.
i changed the brake switch. no lights.
and i changed the bulbs. nothing.
then i changed the stop lamp fuse again.
Now the when i turn the lights on the brake lights light up but nothing when i push the brake pedal down.

Any thoughts?

Well if there is no rust or crud in the electrical connections.....I would check on the adjustment of the switch. Sort of sounds like it is making contact all the time.

If your car is still under warranty, bring it into the dealer and have it checked out. Below is not your year, but may be helpful:

You have been above and beyond what you can do to troubleshoot. :nerd: Since its such a new vehicle Id take it to the deal under the 36 thousand miles 3 year warranty.

The only thing I can add is if you use led bulbs they do not play well with some cars electronics and can be causing these issues.
