But I do feel some things like nhtsa and the EPA are fudging numbers in favor of american cars. Hey whatever it takes to give the US economy a little boost I guess.

yeah, it does sounds political and trying to make people buy more Ford and GM cars because they were under water and need more sells.
They even gave the Toyota camry a bad rating too and toyota is one of the most reliable cars in the market. Just my 0.02 cents opinion or maybe the versa is not that safe, who knows and I don't want to find out
