Lol! Ugh, shopping carts are my worst enemy! Honestly, some people are so lazy. It takes two seconds to walk the cart back. I notice in the US, that a lot more people just leave the carts where ever they park. I absolutely hate going to a US Wal-Mart. Shopping carts are everywhere! Here, most people tend to return them.

I hear you, I used to get carts when I worked in Customer Service and I used to spend at least 30 minutes to an hour getting carts(most co-workers were lazy) but thats cool because I love cars and Im a mechanic so I would usually see one of my friends or a co-worker and we would talk about cars...made time go faster. :16:

America is lazy lol. I always return mine, but I park away from everyone.

They may hate on the Versa, but it is an Accord forum. The Aveo is no comparison to the Versa, its made very cheaply, and GM can't make car's.

The resale on an Impala blows, a 09 used with like 20k on it can go for $13k or so, its like $24k new. Other car's in that class would go for $20k or so used

I can't really say anything bad about GM because my dad has two GM vehicles, and both have handled a ton of abuse, and have had no problems.

Chuckie is a 97 Venture (purchased new). He doesn't quite have 200K but he's still running strong. Sometimes he sits out on the street for months at a time and he still starts up fine.

My dad's daily driver is an 02 Pontiac Sunfire (also purchased brand new) with well over 200K. It is a manual transmission and everything in it is still original. Mind you, it came with no features. No air, no auto locks or windows, just a cd player.

While Chuckie has rusted and the clear coat has peeled off in a lot of places; he stills runs strong. Last summer we took him on a 3000km road trip to Myrtle Beach; and this past month he took us to Pittsburg, P.A.

GM does build good cars. While I may not like the way they all look; I can't say anything really negative about them from our experiences.
And most likely my dad will buy another GM in the future. He is leaning towards a GM built SUV or a Dodge.

I think GM has good Trucks, SUV's and Vans. But alot of the cars don't go as far, and have alot of problems, which some are owner done and some aren't.

I drive a GM, but I have a Saturn, Saturn was a good brand they shouldn't have dropped, I also like my motor is its own, its not in other brands of theirs. The Chevy brand tho, has a lot to it, and its all cheaply made, as well as I hate the designs, my Cavalier was a major fail to change out the deck. >.>

I would buy a Silverado, or a Equinox/Terrain, but I won't buy another car unless its under the Saturn brand, which would have to be used. I'd get an Astra!

I don't think I'd ever want a GM only because none of them really appeal to me. I know my next car will be a Bug. I've always wanted one, and will eventually buy a convertible to use in the summer.

My dad had a brand new Equinox as a rental in Texas. He really liked it, and is thinking of either that as his next vehicle or a new Dodge Grand Caravan. Whatever he buys will be much nicer than Chuckie as it will be new.

But he doesn't want to spend $30-40K on another car. Chuckie cost him over $30K in 97, and he said there is no way he is spending that on a car again.

The Dodge Grand Caravan with the Canada Value Package are only $18K before taxes. The way the vehicle depreciates, and if he plans to use it until it dies, it's no point spending that much money again on a vehicle.

u cant get a caravan for $18K here in NC. Back in 99 we did. But maybe thru discounts and cash back we could, just maybe. But the basic package is $24K here. Wow 18K. Thats amazing. Our 99 caravan was for $18K.

The new Equinox is nice! I'd get it under the GMC name, the Terrain. I drove one recently (they're hard to find here! so much in demand) and loved it alot! Better than their old suv's.
