You have no doubt heard about the Atlanta Snow Disaster of Jan 28. I was caught up in it, and underwent an 11-hour commute home (normally 45 minutes). I stayed away from the interstates, and took surface street and state highways. Even though this route was mostly a parking lot, every icy hill I encountered was no trouble for me and my Note. We were handling hills that countless SUV's and PU trucks were not handling. Perhaps it was the traction control, new tires, maybe my skills. But I never thought that the car had enough weight to tackle untreated icy roadways.
