Maybe it's just my imagination but is the wheel gap in the front greater than rear? I even seen a few lowered Note seem to be more lowered in the rear than the front. Even stock ride height, the front seem to have a bigger wheel gap.

May not be in all cases but I believe that is typical design intent not unique to the Note. The front wheels have to steer at full jounce and rebound positions which means greater clearance is needed to avoid the tire contacting the fenders.
