Versa Sunshade...???

4854 Views 16 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  MissNic
Sooo...

I bought and returned 3 sunshades thus far. I can't find one that actually fits or stays in place.

Can anyone recommend a sunshade that fits?

There's one on eBay that is supposedly custom-cut... but it's $33.00.

Thanks!

Where have you been purchasing them at? $33 sounds like a lot, there should be something cheaper in price.
The ones I bought and returned were from AutoZone and Walmart. They were $8.00, $11.00, and $13.00.

The one on eBay is $33.00, which is supposedly custom made and fits perfectly.
I say go for it then, but compare prices and find the best bargain.
My brother bought me this one :D

It's a tad bit smaller than my last one, but this one is cuter...

Would you mind uploading a cellphone pic?
$33? $10? Come on people, cut out a cardboard sheet to fit, lay on some tinfoil, voila! Function > Form :D
go to your Nissan Dealer and just buy 1. its only $24.99. I just saw it today at my G/f work.

nice way to make a good car look ghetto.....
i'll stick to paying money
Lets take a look at this...

You can be smart by emphasizing the products you use to produce your own sunshade and save money. The drawback, it will look shanty unless you take the time. Or...you can have an elegant sunshade. But, you end up spending money and some cost more than others. You pay for what you get.

All in all, do what you feel is in your best interest if you have the funds or not.

Back on topic, the purpose of this thread is to help out members to find the best overall sunshade for the Versa in general.
Making your own sunshade would require:

- trips to the store, maybe many stores for different supplies like backboard, reflective frabric, professional grade adhesive that won't warp or melt under the sun (wasted gas)
- time and labor (wasted time and labor lol)
- a thick skin (would be straight up ghetto/embarrassing)

No thanks.
